Well, the big switch is finally here, sort of. In Madison, NBC will be switching already on Monday, a day early actually, and all the other local stations except Fox are switching on Tuesday. (NBC 15 to shut down analog signal on Monday (CapTimes) )
For those of you new to this digital world, the FCC has created a mashup to help you figure out exactly which stations you should be able to pick up at your home. http://www.fcc.gov/mb/engineering/maps/
To be honest it's not really much up a mashup, but it's a place to get some info at least. An even better site is http://www.antennaweb.org, which recommends antenna types and gives compass headings for the various stations. Now if someone would make a mashup with their information it might actually be worthwhile...
